The food was absolutely delicious, most definitely a must for restaurant week. The flatbread was so good too, and the seating was very comfortable.

First time at Spice Finch and I will definately make a trip back there. Shout out to Ritesh for the invite. The private event space is a place that shouldn't be missed. Definitely check out the wall paper (it is trippy). It is really cool they have 2 private event spaces. We started the meal with hummus on these amazing tasting crudités. There was even this green type dip (I am blanking on what it was but it had peas in it). The next app was the broccoli tabbouleh which was pretty good and healthy. Definitely the broccoli tabbouleh was a good non meat heavy app. It consisted of tomato's, quinoa, and basically grated broccoli. Then we had some blistered peppers. These shishito peppers were so spicy. On our second course there was baked cheese. I really recommend the baked cheese. I loved the mozzarella that was topped with phyllo. The roasted cauliflower was good too. The whole head was perfectly baked and I really liked the use of cashew butter. The third course consisted of Moroccan Skirt Steak, Persian Rice Cake, Chili Chicken Kabobs, Shabazi fries. The shabazi fries were basic but I really liked the harissa aioli. I wasn't a big fan of the Persian rice cakes (they just tasted like crisp rice). The Moroccan Skirt Steak was so good. I really liked the marinade. The Chili Chicken Kabobs were perfect! I highly recommend this dish. It was basically a big piece of chicken on a kabob stick. I really liked how the kabobs had a kick to it. The desserts consisted of ice cream on a brownie and a phyllo type treat. I really liked the ice cream and the brownie was pretty delicious as well.

This restaurant has been on my list for a while now. Finally, there's an event coming up, and I'm so excited to try it! They serve mostly vegetarian dishes here. Here's what we had: Broccoli Tabbouleh: So fresh. It's healthy but tasty at the same time. Blistered Peppers: Shishito peppers- sweet and a kick of spicy. Baked Cheese and Roasted Cauliflower: Both were a bit too sweet for my taste but still good. Persian Rice Cake: Don't order this; it has no taste. Shabazi Fries: These fries are so good and addictive, seasoned with some type of salt. Chicken Kabab: The meat is tender and flavorful, paired with a delicious sauce. Watch out for the chili pepper--it's spicy! Skirt Steak: Cooked perfectly and tender, with a bonus of fresh cucumber and spiced cashews. I love their dessert--custard cake and brownie topped with ice cream. So soft and so good. The service is good, but the food came out very slowly. It was a Tuesday night, so I'm not sure why they were so busy. The restaurant has a romantic vibe, good for couples, with dim lighting. Overall, everything is great!

Elegant place in the heart of the city so a safe spot off walnut. Service was great as nothing was rushed at all which I prefer in my service. Food was delicious, hummus was plenty and so were peppers for apps for 4 people. The chicken and cauliflower was tender and fresh with veggies and sauce. Shrimp was almost jumbo size too which helped soak in the flavor. Busy spot but weekday wasn't too bad. I'd go back again and they have outdoor tables too.

I enjoyed eating dinner here. Spice Finch is such a cute restaurant and definitely a nice date night spot! This isn't your typical traditional Mediterranean spot as they drew flavor inspiration from surrounding areas, but I loved the meal overall. This place is definitely pricey- especially for the smaller serving size. The trio of spreads was a nice way to try multiple spreads at once. I was surprised by how little of each spread was given (compared to other restaurants in the city). It was a good size to leave you feeling satisfied though. The flatbread was covered in oil, which I did enjoy. I felt it took away from the flavor of the spreads. Our waitress recommended the beet salad, which was uniquely smokey! I've never eaten beets cooked like that and I am so glad I got to try it. For our entree, my friend and I shared the peri-peri shrimp. This wasn't my favorite. It almost tasted Italian- like shrimp in pasta sauce. I would definitely try the lamb or chicken if I were to come back.

This review is 3.5 stars rounded up to 4! This restaurant is very cute and spacious inside. The food was super great and flavorful. The chickpea wedges were unique and I really enjoyed the dipping sauce they came with. The chicken kebab was juicy and tangy, and I liked the bit of spice from the chilis. Got the brownie for dessert which you can't go wrong with (although I wish they added more halva to mine!) I really enjoyed everything I ordered and the portion sizes were really great for the price! Where this place fell a little flat was the service. The employees were generally nice but the wait times between courses were way too long. My party and I all ordered everything at the beginning so I think the courses couldve been timed better. Then when we got our check at the end of the meal, there was an extra item on our check that nobody at my table ordered. When we told the waitress, she sort of questioned us a little bit and then after telling her again, she said she would go "investigate", which meant that we had to wait even longer to leave. Although she was still nice and I totally understand that mixups happen, my group and I just didn't love all the waiting around we had to do as we had another commitment after dinner to go to! Overall this place was great and I would probably come back to try more things on the menu!
